About the Course
Campers will learn about the science of cooking and do amazing experiments using everyday items found in the kitchen such as milk and skittles. Join us as we make homemade pizza, ice cream and other amazingly delicious treats while discovering the world of science.
Campers will embark on an exciting journey to explore the fascinating science of cooking, where they will engage in a variety of hands-on experiments that utilize everyday items commonly found in the kitchen, including the science behind dough rising and the importance of yeast and the the freezing process. Participants will not only create amazingly delicious treats but also uncover the scientific principles that underpin everyday cooking. They will engage in discussions about the chemistry of flavor, the biology of fermentation, and the physics of heat transfer, all while having fun in a collaborative environment.
